Silver member check-in at DXB
Hey all,
I was traveling from DXB to JFK a few days ago. I'm a silver member and went to check in at the business class area in the new Terminal 3. I was asked to go to a separate section that was reserved for silver members. I went there and was told that since my flight was heading to the US I could only check in through economy. Has anyone else experienced this before?

I haven't experienced economy in ages - so am no help there. I checked in in BOM the other week to do BOM-DXB-SFO in F and there were no special arrangements, other than the check in staff asking me my contact details in the USA. I noticed that there were a large number of folk on the BOM-DXB again on the DXB-SFO flight in J.
