Increased Baggage Allowance

http://www.emirates.com/au/english/E...e_july_09.html

It’s never been a better time to fly with Emirates. Now you can check in 30kg for Economy Class, 40kg for Business Class and 50kg for First Class*.

And it doesn’t end there. If you’re a Skywards Gold or Silver member you can check in an additional 16kg or 12kg respectively*.

*Excludes travel to/from USA, Canada, and Brazil, where allowances differ. For more information, customers can use the baggage calculator on Emirates.com to check baggage allowance tailored to their specific route.

LOL! They announced that a couple of weeks ago, however, have not changed the baggage limit in the eTickets by now. Let's see how that works out.

Cheers,
it's kinda tucked away, but it's located on the same floor as the Dubai Duty Free, next to gate 220

My latest eTickets show the new baggage limits and when I flew recently, I was told that despite my tickets showing the old allowances, the new ones would infact take place. Mind you, I think even my wife would be hard pressed to pack 66kg of luggage!!!
