Lax lounge

Hummmmmmmmmm, confused of Dubai! I'll be flying LAS-LAX-DXB in a few weeks and was wondering which lounge Ek use. According to the website, EK use the SkyTeam Lounge, however, there does not appear to be one in TB where EK depart from.

If anyone knows which one it is, is it one of the typical UA ones where you get a voucher for one drink and a small packet of pretzils - or is it areal one?

Anyone shed any light on this one?

I only ask as I have a 4 hour layover, and wonder (hope even) that it may be landside, as some of them are in the US so i can keep nipping out for a ciggy before the nightmare long journey without one!

They use the Korean Air lounge at LAX and the United Red Carpet Club in SFO. Both lounges have barely any food and services. Hopefully the flights will be successful enough that they can up the capacity or add frequency to get their own lounges at these airports.

Do you know if you can use the lounge on arrival into SFO? 17 hours - will be in need of a shower for sure! I am connecting to a Virgin America flight, although in F class you still have to pay 40U$ to use the lounge - its the VS lounge with showers!

I'm using both LAX and SFO business lounges in the coming months - does anyone know if Emirates have changed their suppliers from above? Still no addition to the Skywards lounge list on their site.
