Baggage Delay Compensation?
I recently had a flight from DXB to JFK and 2 of our bags (2 passengers) were delayed for about 36 hours. They told me that I would get compensated $50 dollars per day. They gave me a phone number to call 212-758-3944 ext 451 and I have left multiple messages but nobody has called me back. I was flying business class and I am not very happy that I can never get anybody at that dept. Is there anybody I can or need to call regarding this matter?

I had the same problem a few times with emirates usually due to shorter connecting times - lhr-dxb-del delayed luggage was in J offered $50 per person compensation then and there at the airport...
lhr - dxb was retrospectively reimbursed in excess of 200 for delayed luggage plus 20,000 miles - but there was a lot more going wrong on that flight than normal
dxb - lhr - no compensation or assistance excpet we will deliver your luggage to your house in 24 hours due to lhr being my home airport..
