Service order on EK409?

Hi there

Flying EK409 MEL-DXB on 14 feb with a connection to LHR.
As this is the new flight from MEL (starts Feb 1 i think?) and departs MEL at the strange time of 02:55, would they serve a full meal after take off or just a light refreshment, then something more substantial later in the flight?

Don't really think i could handle a full meal at that time of the morning.

I am travelling in Y on this trip.

Maybe someone from EK ops reads this forum who would know.

Cheers

EK 433 departs SIN more or less at the same local time and the service is asnack based on sandwiches just after departure and a breakfast before the arrival at DXB (at 6.15 approx).

Your flight is longer but the service might be similar.

Try to check Emirates website, you might fing some details about onboard service.

Yeah, any flights that I have been on with similar operating times will do that. Light dinner/refreshment on takeoff, then full meal a few hours later just before landing at dawn.

Thanks on the update; I booked for my family on the same flight in 2 weeks. They felt the departure time was a bit weird, but I assured them they'll be well catered for; now I got the proof

How busy was your flight?
Thanks again
