Seat Availability?
Anyone able to help me out with seat availability?
Looking at getting J seats on EK for AKL-SYD-AKL on 24th Jan and returning on the 31st of Jan. I rang emirates but they couldn't tell me how many seats were available...
Any help appreciated.

just to clear things up.. the number of seat mentioned is for all business class seats..
now if you are asking about J fare or C fare seats.. thats another story.. maybe someone else might be able to help you out with that..

There are at least 4 seats available[KVS Availability Tool 3.3.2/Platinum - Sabre: ITN/UK-ASB]
Seat Map showing 15 available seats - so there's somewhere between 4 and 15 seats available, probably nearer 4...

Just out of curiosity what's the fare difference between J and C since I've read a few stories about people doing mileage runs trans-tasman. Is it worth it?

J is generally a more flexible ticket. I have found EK to be flexible with it's cheaper business fares, but restricted changes to the outbound date. Flexibility is not that useful if flights are sold-out... Never had reason to change an EK ticket though...
