Business Class Upgrade

Hi guys, i just have a question, i have upgraded from economy class to business using skywards points for the DEL-DXB sector and DXB-SYD i am back to economy, currently my DEL-DXB flight arrives midnight and DXB-SYD connection is the following morning, just wandering will I be able to hang out in the Emirates Business Class lounge by showing the DEL-DXB business class boarding pass ???

If the connection is 6 hrs or longer EK gives a Hotel at DXB. Another option is to use the arrivals lounge at DXB for which you have to clear immigration and return. This is now very easy. You cannot use the DEL-DXB boarding pass at the Biz lounge at DXB

Techincally no.. However, you do get lounge access in DEL, becuase tou are flying Business, now with that, at check in, request you exchange that business lounge access for the one in DXB, maybe they might be kind enough to do it.. but dont get your hopes up.

(On a side note: i dont know your current mileage, but i would have focused on getting upgrade from DXB-SYD.. thats worth an upgrade.. 14 hour flight.)

and for some reason, i always thought it was 8 hour layover for hotel???

Thanks for the suggestion, i was going to request that if they would allow it, also i would have loved an upgrade on the DXB-SYD sector, however i do not have enough points, next time perhaps..

It's 8 hours for Economy, 6 hours for Business & First.
