Booking a reward via Continental. I was told the EK segment has to be confirmed and online shows waitlisted. What exactly does waitlisted mean? Are there seats available but they have to see if they are rewards seats?

Are you wait listed for coach, first or business?
Wait list usually means two things with EK. They have filled all of their allotment of seats to be given to CO. OR they are waiting to sell the seat and open the inventory at the last minute. How long until you fly on EK.
The CO folks told me EK seats are hard to get.
