Madrid seems like a likely destination. There have been many rumours that MAD will be the staging post for 1-stop services to Latin America. ut they're just that, rumours! Even the Barcelona announcment is simply saying that there are plans. No confirmed new routes as yet...
When the A380s start to arrive en mass then I think we'll see more lower end expansion as they displace smaller aircraft which in turn free up others or open new services.

Great! Do you know which the equipment is that? Is that A333 or A332? I am not sure for which the aircraft is that. I think its nice to see more capacity growth from DXB-MAD nonstop. Let's see how it going out of DXB. I am not familiar anything more specific new routes from DXB-BCN anytime soon. I think it will have wait to see in the future if EK will continuation to be in negotiate from Spanish government is subject to be approval. if they will have to gets fifth freedom traffic rights through MAD-BCN-DXB.
