Incident on EK052 causing a diversion

It seems EK052 (MUC-DXB) operated by an A332 on 18 Aug had to be diverted to Ankara for medical emergency after an injury to a pax.

I can only imagine the culprit here were the infamous "in your lap J class seats" on the A332.

The pitch on the A332 is huge! Much better than on the 777 (old or new cradle seats). I can't reach the seat in front, and I'm 6'3".

It must have been in the cheap (sorry, less expensive) seats!

Cheers,
Rick

Wow! If there was indeed an argument on board & the bride ended up needing medical attention, it sounds pretty serious. Does that constitute as air rage? I've had passengers behind me shoved my seat from the back when I reclined (back when I was flying in Y) but I figured, they can recline too so what the problem??

I'll be flying an A332 to VIE soon but thankfully in J (all 5'2" of me)

Ain't it odd that the Emirati man who 'lashed out' at the bride wasn't arrested, if not in Germany, then at Dubai?
What probably happened is that the bride felt sick of her own accord, and that the Emirati dude was angry about the diversion. Some nosy busybody on the flight thought that it would make a good story so leaked the info to the press.
