Skywards Silver lounge access
Hi,
after my next flight on EK I´ll hit the 25000 miles to become Silver. Does this Tier level offer lounge access only in DXB??

Yes. And they've 'temporarily' removed the guest access, so it's only good for one person.
You won't get access to the main business class lounge, but one reserved for Golds/Silvers travelling in economy. There's not much difference however.
Cheers,
Rick

lounge like a zoo, at the best of times.
As i said in another thead. the EK bussness lounge is like a zoo at the best of times, I guess this is dew to been open to the main concorse and the locals just walk stright in for a free feed and drink. The poor girls on the desk can only ask a few at a time for there pass (just think kings cross station) and are far too busy with other things. The Silver lounge is harder to find and thus less busy, and you can get a seat, food is the same and i find this lounge better than the main j class lounge, better view too no waiting for a shower and finding a dump in it. Never been in the F class lounge. Hope this helps.

On the way back: Venice to Dubai I will be in business (miles upgrade) then y Dubai - Perth. Does this mean I can access a business lounge in Venice on my way out, but only access the silver lounge on arrival in Dubai awaiting my Y flight (also another long layover)?
I am also curious as to whether I am entitled to the chauffeur service even on upgrade miles, and what part of the legs this would apply.
Sorry in advance if I have somehow posted this in the wrong way, this is my first post, and I have noticed some people can get a bit tetchy. Newbie poster, play nice!
Cheers.

I have silver status and will be flying from Perth to Dubai in Y (with a long layover) and then Dubai to Rome in business (using miles to upgrade) In the above message it points out that you only have access to one lounge in Dubai for silvers. If I am flying the second leg in business class do I get to access both lounges even though the upgrade is from miles?
Welcome to FT!
Cheers,
Rick
