Row 7 or 11 ?

Hi,
now my transfer time is sorted I turn my attention to seats. We have 2 legs listed as 777ER,1 as 777/300 and 1 as A380(yeah) Biz class on the 3 class 777's is split, rows 6,7...galley...rows 8-11. I've got a pair in row 11 for all 3 777 flts but row 7 has pairs available on 2/3 legs.
I read on seatguru that row 7 does not fully recline,is that the case and if so would the advise be to stick with row 11(assuming they recline) I've read the sticky and looked at EK's seatmaps etc etc and am not convinced which is best?
Cheers...............Harry

Hi there,

I've flown on the 773 (non-ER) numerous times, both in rows 7 and 11. They both have pro's and con's.

Row 7
Pro's
Private
First Off (not much of a difference though!)

Con's
Near Galley
Slightly less recline (not really noticeable)

Row 11
Pro's
Full Recline
Served First

Con's
Beside Economy Bassinet seats (NOISY!!)
Not very private.

Hope this has helped!

773ER,
thanks that helps,I thought rows 6 AND 8 had bassinets which could mean being in a "baby sandwich" but there doesn't seem to be a definitive seatmap anywhere. The extra recline would help on 2 of the 3 773 legs but then privacy/quiet would also help sleeping.I'm surprised how many seats are already allocated when it's over 9 months to departure,in particular how many "single" seats out of window/aisle pairs have gone, are these randomly allocated as seats are booked rather than people actually selecting them?
Anyway it's nice to be able to select seats,we flew BA club world recently and I had a hell of a job getting seats together prior to OLCI.
Thanks again........H

seats booked early

I think with Emirates as they offer seat selection on their website to even non Skyward members thats why they get selected.

Also lots of great travel agents - go do you want a window or an aisle and request that.

its only the FT type people who really select what they want.

its also a by product of the fact that many airlines do not let u select a seat , so people who fly emirates appreciate the option and thats why they go early.
