73L a/c code

Just checked the schedules for Malta to Dubai on EK's website and it showed up with some days being operated by 73L and other days by 772.

Anyone knows what the 73L is, pretty sure it's a bug since IATA doesn't list any a/c for that code.

You mean the -200LR right

I thought it was that too but I looked up DXB-IAH and it shows up as 77L rather than 73L.

No such aircraft as a 777-300LR.

It will be a 777-300ER.

B777-300 low density configuration (3-class). It's an internal EK code.

I'm sure this was just a typo. You meant high density 2 class config

No its not a typo.

73L = B777-300 low density
