Seats on the 777LR

I am currently booked in seats 38G (Outbound) and 17G (Inbound)... Does anyone know if row 17 is a bulkhead row?

Thanks,
Chris Slovacek

You can check the info at the Services by Flight in the Emirates website.

Yes, I believe 17 is the bulkhead -- I hope so as I am in 17C this Saturday!

The reason I ask is because the seat map on Emirates.com and Seatguru are different. Seatguru doesn't have a row 17 on the 777LR...It shows it starting in row 18 but the Emirates website shows that there is a row 17. Just trying to get some accurate help before making my trek from IAH-DXB and back.

Thanks,

I'd trust the EK website over Seatguru in this case.

Seatguru is not very accurate for Emirates. I think I should make that my new signature.

However, the 777-200LR is not even listed on Seat Guru currently - on the non LR 777-200 is.

Cheers,

Does the bulkhead row (17) have more legroom than the 33-34" pitch of the rest of the seats? Typically I would select the bulkhead but I'm wondering if it is worth it on EK. Anyone have any suggestions if I should reserve it or take the normal 38G?

Thanks,
Slovacek

I've never been on the 200LR, but on the 300ER the bulkhead had more room. My understanding is typical pitch on the 200LR is 31".

Wow, 31" pitch on the LR is quite tight. Those birds are operating looong flights.

31"....I guess this is the least seat pitch in the Emirates fleet?
Anyone tried Y on this bird?

I'll be flying Y in May from IAH-DXB-IAH and I'm trying to get the most bang (room) for the buck back in cattle class.
