What to do with expiring miles?

I have not really flown EK after my first experience three years ago, focused on AA and LH. Now I have 17k miles expiring in February, not really plans to fly EK soon (maybe later this year). Any suggestions?

I see you are SPG plat. You could transfer 7k more miles to EK and have an even 25K. Then you can get a reward on CO or UA anywhere within North America.

Cheers,

You could check to see if you can transfer them to another of EK's partner programs which you are already a member off. In essence do sadiqhassan's suggestion in reverse.
