To EK/UL experts,
I was surprised EK operates CMB/SIN route, EK348 and chose it at random.
I am curious that the (J class) differences of ground service, inflight meal and entertainment between EK and UL in this same route.
Many thanks.

I've flown both EK and UL from DXB-CMB in business. On that route, there was minimal difference in service and cabin comfort between the two flights. That's not surprising, given that EK owns a portion of UL, and they code share on a number of routes. As for ground service, they use each other's lounges. UL has a very nice lounge in CMB.

I've flown the route on EK (daytime flight) and it was a typical EK in J. Good software (food, menus, etc) but seats that leave alot to be desired. My guess would be that the EK inflight service in J would be a bit more refined than that of UL.
