Question Online changes to online booking

Sorry if this is a very obvious question (I really did do a search!):

If I make a booking (multi-leg in J/F) on the EK website will I be able to make make changes to the flight times online? My preferred flight isn't currently available but I need to secure the itinerary soon and would like to be able to change easily if my preferred flight opens up. Alternatively I could get my TA to book it - then I don't have to pay immediately either.

No, you'll have to phone Emirates to make changes.

Cheers,
Rick

Much obliged! ^

The less I have to do with EK in JNB the better. So, I'll rely on my TA who is fractionally less useless.

You're aware that EK has an office in CPT, are you? It's down at the Foreshore. They should be able to save you from going through JNB which admittedly is a schlepp.

Yes, thanks, I have gathered that. The question is: will they be any more motivated or have even the basic training that their colleagues in JNB lack?

I don't know. I haven't had the pleasure in dealing with them yet. For me it would have the advantage that I can actually pitch up at their desks which might make a difference. But then, I live around the corner from their offices (Oranjezicht).
