What is a 77W ?

For example, EK 763 (as in flight # 763) is listed as 77W... which type of 777 is this... a 777-300, 777-300 ER, 777 300 UHL?

I'm also wondering if the DXB-JNB route will ever get new F/J seats.

Any help please would be so apreciated!

DXB-JNB currently has the newest lie-flat business class seats and the First Class flat bed non-suite seats.

77W = 777-300ER

Cheers,

Cheers,

But only flights 763 (DXB-JNB 10:15 - 16:25) and 764 (JNB - DXB 19:15 - 05:15) have this new seats.
Flights 761/762 have the old seats on the 77W.
The new flights 765/766 will switch to A332 service.

I can not think of an A332 EK aircraft other than with old seats.
Never heard that they will upgrade their 332 fleet.

The business class seat has now a better recline (still the old, narrow seat), but after they increased the seat pitch, they now increased the recline.

I am on 766 in March, 2008. It is listed as a 777-300. Is that wrong?

I think you are fine. From march onwards it will be only 777-300 service.
