Missing Seats?
Hi,
I'm booked on EK12 from LGW to DXB on 22 August.
We were allocated seats 2: F, J & K in F by EK office in London.
I've just checked with KVS tool seat plan and row 2 seems to be missing. It's the A330 as usual which I know from experience has 2 rows in F.
Dummy booking in EK site also only shows row 1 in F.
Any ideas?
Cheers

The KVS tool (worldspan seat maps, at least) will only shows rows with at least one seat available for assignment. So, if all seats in row 2 are assigned then only row 1 will show up.

Just checked 12AUG/EK12/LGW-DXB/332/F using KVS / Worldspan and BOTH rows of F show up...
At the moment, this is how it looks...
A B AISLE E F AISLE J K
F* A* 1 F* A* 1 $ $
F* F* 2 F* F* 2 F* A*
Looks like 2K is empty.. If you say that's you, maybe you should call EK again?!?
-t.

Missing Seats
Hi,
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm happy now I know I havn't been bumped back into J due to some strange re-config of A/C.
This is after burning a load of miles on the J to F upgrade for this sector.
Not really worth it I know on the A330 but the miles were due to expire.
Cheers

Although I may not have had this view in the past, now that I think about it, using miles to upgrade J-->F on A330s (especially night flights) is a good idea. The A330 J seat is really lousy recline/legrest extention wise whereas the F seat will allow you to have some rest.
