Excellent Customer Service Experience
I have been harsh on the declining customer service in previous posts. However, I booked two flights, one to Beirut and one to Hyderabad. All full flights. The gold desk was able to guarantee me a seat on both flights and took around 5 minutes. She even got me seat assigments.
The lady was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I asked to speak to a supervisor to commend her, but she was a bit shy on that request.
Very impressed from the Gold Desk! Keep up the good work!

I also received really great service from the Gold desk recently.
I wanted to use my Gold reward mileage discount for a business class upgrade from Mel to Fra and even though it was clearly stated in the terms & conditions that the discount is only valid on outbound flights, the man at the gold desk happily let me use mine for an inbound flight.
He even let me go minus in my mileage account. I didnt have quite enough miles for myself and my husband, but I was able to use more miles than what I actually had in my account. ( it was only 65 miles , but I was still pleasantly surprised at the offer from the Gold desk to go minus,....as I didnt ask...)
I was also easily able to get my preferred seats in Business class even though I had seen on a dummy booking that they were already occupied.
All in all fantastic service from the Gold desk . A real pleasure ^
