Recently have had to fly with EK a lot due to new work routes. Unfortunately just when I was close to Skywards Silver, the year ended so they reset my status level miles to zero [as most others do, so nothing exceptional there].

I am Platinum with AF/KL [Skyteam] and BD Silver [Star]. Will EK comp my status, or do I have to start collecting status level miles all over again?

I know that if you are a regular EK flyer and have earned your elite levels the proper way this will seem a very cheeky request, but my work travel routes are just that bit too inconvenient for me to fly EK all the time, yet enough to warrant me not wanting to sweat it out in the main airport terminals [especially in Pakistan in June / July] if I can help it.

sometimes if you just miss the cutoff tier miles for the next elite level, skywards might just give it to you. if not, you could try asking nicely, and u might get it too.
