Mixed Up
I was scheduled for saturday night on the jfk dubai nonstop connecting to chennai india only to find out that the 340 was suddenly a 777-300. good bye to the suite.
my ta transferred me to the jfk-dubai stopping in germany (not sure Hamburg or frankfurt please advise) as it leaves 15 minutes later and has the suites in f.
is there an emirates lounge, shower facilities, and any special duty free shops. how long is the stop.

EK stops at HAM before continuing to DXB. The aircraft arrives at 1:15pm and departs for DXB at 3:10pm. There is no dedicated EK lounge, just a generic lounge without showers (quite nice though).
Duty free shops are available in the transit area.
