Welcometo FLYERTALK and the EK forum.

There is a little button on the top right hand corner called "Search" and "Advance Search" - and if you type in F product, you might be able to find all your answers there. There are many threads on the types of F products available, so you really do not need to start a new thread.

Or you may :

Go to: http://www.emirates.com/index.asp

And click on "IN THE AIR" to see your answers to your questions.

This is on an A340-300. F class is 12 seats 2-2-2. They are lie flat seats, but not the semi-suite type. The seats are comfortable. The IFE is the usual loop system, as well as personal video players. You will get served a light meal after take off (usually sandwiches, etc.), and then brunch before you land. Best seats are 2AB or 2JK.

This depends on which flight you are on. If you are on the direct flight EK 381, they use an A330. F class is 12 seats 2-2-2. They are the older lie flat seats. The seats are comfortable. The IFE is the usual loop system, as well as personal video players. You will get served breakfast after take off, and then lunch before you land. Best seats are 2AB or 2JK.

Try and get onto EK 387 which goes via Bangkok, but at least you get a 777-300ER which has the semi suite's in First. F class is 12 seats 2-2-2. They the mini suites with very comfortable seats. The IFE is ICE on a huge screen. You will get served a light meal from HKK to BKK, and then another light meal after take off from BKK, with breakfast before you land. Best seats are 2AB or 2JK.

The A330/A340 flights also have VOD by way of a personal in seat video player with about 20 movies to choose from. You fill in a form and choose the movie you want from a list. The quality is not great.

Cheers

Only snacks offered on my way to PEK??

Doesn't sound like a great dinning experience considering the amount of money i am paying.

No Proper Bed in F and no proper dinner??

Maybe i should reconsider taking EK??

On the 20th May the ATH-DXB is operated by a three class 777-200

Can someone tell me if it's the new F class and or ICE?

Also can someone confirm to me if on the 26th May from HKG to DUBAI via Bankgok is a 3 class 777 with the new F?

I am between either going direct to DXB or going via BKK if a good aircraft is there.

Your replies much appreciated.

Regards
