Y/J Baggage Query
Hello Everyone !
I am relocating to the UK in September and shall be carrying baggage to the tune of 20k+ but within 30 kgs.
I'm planning to take a Y ticket BLR-BHX and get a J upgrade on the DXB-BHX sector. Can I check-in 30kgs at BLR itself in this case since my ultimate destination will be on J ?
If no, any advice would be very much welcome.

Technically your allowance should be 30K for the J sectors and 20K for the Y sectors. Whenever I upgrade, the sticker (for a paper ticket) on the new sector shows 30K while other sectors remain 20K. With that being said, if you explain your situation to the agent they usually won't be too fussy.
