ICN-DXB Question

Am flying ICN-DXB a week from Friday in J. Have flown a variety of EK configurations on 330s and 777s, but never on a 340 of any variety to recollection. I looked through the seating guide sticky and figured out what the better seats were, but did not really figure out if these seats were closer to the old 330's or the 777s.

Also, I have enough miles to upgrade - recommended? I don't really care about the food and wine - I am sure it will be impressive in F, but they do a pretty good job in J as far as I am concerned. Basically, how much better is the F seat, because with a midnight flight and a ten day around the world (with very little time for rest) my main concern is getting some sleep

The seats are almost identical to the A330 seats, I think the A340 has one inch less seat pitch. If you want to sleep, I would recommend the upgrade to F. The J seats, while roomy, offer subpar recline. The F seats become flat, IIRC.

Cheers

I'll definitely do that - I always find the 330's to be pretty sub-par in J, all things considered. Either way, I'll hope for an equipment swap
