Emirates "Cash + Miles program"

Its a dream come true for some people. Why can't all the airlines have this kinda program?. Example, for febuary, 1,600 Dhs + 8,000 miles gives you a RT between Dubai and Perth, Australia!.WOW!

I think it tends to only be for UAE customers.

Is there more information available on the net? I can't find anything on the emirates.com UAE website and skywards.com has no country websites.

So, now we have it for quite a long time.

I've used it - very good option.

For my ticket WAW - KUL it was cheaper (less miles and the same cash) to use "mile and cash" then classic award (due to very high fees added to reward tickets)
(sure, the ticket is saver, not flex, but thanks to "mile and cash" I was able to use miles in useful way before expiring! )

I thought there were some unusual posts here until I noticed the thread was 10 years old. Here's some more recent discussions:

yes but the poster to whom you replied clearly didn't know this before and your answer implied that his information may have been outdated. Just clarifying.
