Skywards or Onepass
hello,
i am CO onepass member, not an elite but i have accumulated 130k miles and now i have a trip coming up in FEB from aus-ewr-man-dxb-hyd-jfk-aus. i was just wondering if anyone can suggest me is it better to add these miles to my CO One pass or open a skywards acct and add it to that. i am using CO, Emirates and Delta for the trip and as i am booked in lowly Xclass on CO i will only get 50% of EQM and on delta i am on U class and get only 50% of EQM's. sbut if i use skywards i will be getting 100% EQM's for the trip but the only disadvantage is the miles expire in 3 years. how easy it is to book award tickets domestically with skywards miles. any tips welcome
thanks

Skyward are useless
As a recent gold-status I would say that Skywards miles are absolutely useless unless you frequent the Dubai area. Of course, I am a US citizen. If you are an Aussie than you may actually want to do stuff there. If this is a one-off deal, I would definitely book under the CO Flight # and add to your pool there.
From what I have seen so far, their miles are 1) not very user-friendly to use outside the UAE and 2) Not a good value per mile.
I am only a Gold status right now b/c they are the best way for me to "commute" to work in Bangladesh from the US and my employer will not book under CO flight #'s b/c of pricing agreements.
Hope this helps!
