Operating hours of JFK lounge?

Does anyone know what time the Emirates lounge at JFK closes?

My dad is booked on Emirates, JFK-DXB (onwards to India later) in F leaving in late February and returning in mid March.

Apparently he has the option of comp. dinner at the Ritz Carlton or complimentary car service to the airport. I told him the lounge at JFK sounds fabulous, and he likes stuff like that. We traveled through NRT once together and he thought the lounge was a hoot. I think it was Northwest and I'm assuming EK would be at least on par with if not better than that.

However his flight leaves at 11, so he probably wouldn't arrive any earlier than 8, and make it to the lounge by 8:30 or 9. Is the lounge closed by then? If not, are services winding down, food getting scarce/old? If it's still popping later at night, I think he'd like to experience it, even though the RC dinner sounds very nice too.

Thanks for your help

The lounge is definitely open at least until the 11p JFK-DXB departs. The nonstop on the 345 is their cash cow flight

I am actually sitting in the EK lounge right now waiting to board EK202 to Dubai. I arrived about 8:30. There is plenty of food. Shrimp cocktail, salads, filet mignon, veggies, deserts etc. Plus all the wine, champagne, booze too.

You can definitely make a full meal here which is what I did so I can go straight to sleep when I get to F suite on the plane. : )

You can also have dinner at the Ritz in NY before the flight if you want. Then the chauffer drive service from the Ritz to the airport. Never done this before but I am sure it would be fabulous.

Give your father the options and let him decide.
