Hi all --
I'm flying ZRH-DXB-PVG this December, my first time on Emirates. From ZRH I'm booked on EK 088 arriving DXB at around 2340, connecting to the PVG flight, EK 302 leaving 0325.
I'm interested in taking a look around DXB (just for fun, and for the new stamp in my passport =) ), so am thinking of changing the ex-ZRH flight to EK 086 which arrives 0620.
If I do this, my layover would be over 21 hours. Would EK still check my bags through ZRH-DXB-PVG in this case or would I have to claim it in DXB?
Thanks -- looking forward to it!

Yes. Bags are checked through as long as the connection is less than 24 hours.
However, if you are flying in F or J I would stick with the afternoon flight. The seating comfort is far superior to that on the evening flight
