Talking Heathrow Lounge Finally Open

DUBAI, U.A.E., 28th October 2006 – Emirates Airline yesterday inaugurated its latest dedicated airport lounge at London Heathrow – its fourth to be launched in four weeks following the opening of similar passenger facilities in Singapore, Hong Kong and Melbourne earlier this month.

Currently, EK has dedicated lounges in Auckland, Brisbane, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Melbourne, Munich, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Perth, New York JFK, Singapore, Sydney & Dubai.

Emirates Lounges currently in development include Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, while the current lounge in Auckland is undergoing expansion.

Good job too, that place gets crazy when the three EK flights leave in as many hours. Only a couple of months ago when I was in there I was chatting to a fellow pax that they really needed to make it bigger - and kudos to EK for NEVER has any airline done what I said it should do within a month of me saying it!

Now all they need to do is lease out the lounge in the mornings and they could have quite a tidy little profit on the side going. A waste to keep it closed except in the afternoons...

Hi,
can anyone tell me when the EK lounge in Bangkok is due to open? In the meantime where do biz class pax go and what's it like?
