Hey everyone. I'm planning a trip and would love some feedback. I'm planing JFK-SYD in april. I'm going via dubai and bangkok. Here's my question what are peoples thoughts on their coach class and business? Its about 1700 grand for coach and 6 for business. Any input would be great! Ill be putting the miles into my continental one pass. I'm gold elite

There is a big difference between coach & business and you are flying a long way.

Business is certainly worth a lot more than coach mainly because Emirates have shoehorned as many seats as they can into coach and on busy routes they are normally all full, I fly UK to BKK via DXB return twice a year and in the last few years coach on all sectors has been full, the quality of service and extra room in business is a lot more bearable.

The answer to your question is really up to you considering the big difference in ticket prices, if you wont miss the extra $4,300 then I would go for business without question, more probably you can afford it but it is a lot of cash, then think of what else you can spend the money on and consider the fact that in coach you will be travelling for more than 28 hours in a very small seat with only your stopover in Dubai to stretch your legs, (you do not get off the plane in BKK unless you are stopping in BKK), so $4,300 may be a small price to pay for the extra comfort.
