EK A330 Seat Width

EK A330 Seat Width
Hi
Have noticed various reviews of EK A330 include the fact that the J class seats are narrow or at least narrower than other airlines, some sites indicating seat width 18". Being of larger build this does concern me somewhat as I have two 7hr legs on A330 J class. I have no problem on J class with Qatar or MH (20" seat width). Anyone with similar experience or is paranioa setting in for the sake of 2"

I went on an A330-200 in J from MAN-DXB and back in J on a 777-300ER....the A330 seat was narrow but it does have stacks of legroom to compensate, meaning that you can recline it right back and still squeeze out past the person in the adjacent seat without disturbing them. I am a big bloke (6' 3" and heavier than I care to admit on this forum!) and the A330 seat was tight but not uncomfortably so. However, I was expecting the 777 seat to be miles better than the A330 one but it wasn't. The main disappointment with the A330 versus the 777 I was on was the IFE.

The seats on the A330s in J are noticeably narrower than on the 777/345 and also narrower than on QR and MH planes.
However, I don't find it uncomfortable at all, there is just less "wiggle" room. But then again - I am extremely thin. (not gloating
)
If you find yourself very squished in a regular economy class seat, I would be weary of the A330 J class. I would compare the width to just above BA WT+
