Lounges in DXB

Skywards members finally have a decent lounge in DXB. The past couple of years has been a trial in patience for skywards members as they were either directed to the wrong lounge, or had to deal with the DCA Business Class lounge. From what I gather, the DCA Business Class lounge has been converted into a proper Emirates Business Class lounge, by gate 8, that has all the trimmings of the original Emirates Business Class lounge by gate 22. The food offerings are identical and a new room has been opened with computers. Skywards gold and silver are welcomed to use the gate 8 lounge, but not the gate 22 lounge. Although the gate 22 lounge might be more aesthetically pleasing, the gate 8 lounge is now up to par. The DCA Business Class has moved across the hallway, a little farther down from the DCA First Class lounge. Overall, a nice change for skywards members. Now, if only the Colombo lounge situation would be rectified.

I noticed a "new" Emirates Business Class lounge on my trip this summer - and I thought that it must have been a temporary move due to construction or similar - but I now see that it wasn't. Thanks for the update!

However, only one of the two (between G20 and G22) is big enough. The one at G9 is pretty small and at peak times very uncomfortable.

By the way, the free-of-charge wireless LAN seems not to be working all the times. Anybody got an idea what their problem is?
