Silver it is

So it looks like I am going to make Silver after all. Just wanted to hear what the main benefits are being based out of Dubai? I have lots of flights planned next year so looking forward to your comments on what I can do with this newly acquired Silver Card.

Regards,

Billman

From the above privileges Priority Check-in is fine, you can skip long lines at economy class check-in.
25% more Skywards miles are of course fine too.
I like the lounge access in Dubai between connecting flights, drinks and food are good, but the lounge(s) are often very crowded.
Excess baggage allowance is important for me: 12 kg for silver or 16 kg for gold members can save you lot of money (at check-in in Dubai EK is often very strict about the bagagge weight).
Priority bagagge delivery is a "hit or miss", depends much on the airport.
Access to "Alumnus" is something most people do not care about.

So I think the new earned privileges will help you in the future!
