I'm trying to make gold for 2005 and it's going to require a few things:
* Successfully receiving the double tier miles for October credit on my 5 October flights; it never credited. I will call them in NYC tonight.
* Continuing my DXB-BKK-HKG-BKK-DXB-KWI open ticket (in Iraq now; either get on an Iraq to Dubai flight, or get to Kuwait and then on to Dubai, possibly by buying KWI-DXB-KIX-HKD-KIX-DXB-KWI and using the KWI-DXB leg now)
* 10909 tier miles. I was thinking KWI-DXB-KIX-HKD-KIX-DXB-KWI, or KWI-DXB-JFK-DXB-KWI. It looks like I really need the round-trip to get enough miles, unless I paid for C or F for the tier miles COS bonus.
Would EK be likely to do EK Gold for someone with ~48000 miles and a return 6000-8000 miles scheduled for 4-10 JAN of the following year?

Its really disgraceful and very disappionting that you even have to MAKE that comment.
They said double tier miles and they absolutely should have given them!!
I am waiting for elite miles from a trip in september and they just DONT RETURN EMAILS.
Im a bit over LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!
