OT - Ramadan

Hi all,

I've just realised that my trip to DXB/BAH trip falls within Ramadan. So I'd like some advise please.

What is the situation regarding eating/drinking during daylight hours? When I was working in Dubai during Ramadan, we used to take a sandwich into work for lunch, and then go into an small office that was out of sight as not to offend.

However, as this trip will be for pleasure, things aren't quite as simple. Will food be available in the hotels (as room service), or will I have to starve myself for the day?
