I avoid EK 777s (except 777-300ERs) if at all possible because of the uncomfortable seats, but am wondering if I can start booking them now!

Flew 349 CGK-SIN on 772 2 class had ICE. I think this flight continues to Colombo and DXB.
348 SIN-CGK 773 DIDN'T .
I didn't want to leave the all to short flight!

My only problem was that thetray tables do not come close enough. They seem so far out. I can be a messy eater and am always worried to spill something on myself.

I am flying from GLA-MEL on the 20th december. I will be travelling in J class and me and my family are in rows 5 and 6 j and k all the way through to MEL. I was wondering if these are the last 2 rows on the 2 class 777-300ER?
Are these rows the 2 in the smaller cabin for J class on the DXB-SIN-MEL flight aboard a 3 class 773.
I know that ICE is installed on the 777-300ER but will it be installed on the 777-300 by late december?
All help is appreciated.

Hi,
Rows 5 and 6 are the last 2 rows on the 777ER, but on the 777-300, row 5 doesn't exist. Row 6 is the first row of the smaller cabin.
It is unlikely that EK will have installed ICE on any of its 777-300's by December, as it has only just finished changing the 777-200's. If possible, I would try and get on the nonstop DXB-MEL flight on the A340-500. The J class on the 773 is not impressive, although it does look sold out

Thanks.
Is the J class on the 777-300 really that bad?!
I wanted to get in the non-stop flight but it was sold out.
What is the seat pitch on the ER and is the pitch smaller in the small cabin on the 773 compared to the larger cabin. What is the seat pitch on the 773 aswell?
Thanks,
773ER

Sadly, I think they are all as bad as eachother. For pitch, EK9 might be the best, and for seat width, either EK3 or EK5. If you give specific dates I can check if the 777-300's have been reconfigured
Also, EK9 is not always a 330, the equipment varies, and it is often a 772 as well, which would make it the best option.
Cheers
