EK - Is this fare valid??
Hi, I hope someone is able to help with this question without me causing much of a fuss. I've checked back over some previous posts without finding anything relavent and even results obtained on Google haven't answered it.
I've got a route from the EK website which has the following entry in the fare rules:
"FLT APPLIC, Must not be via any EK Flight".
Can some one please clarify what this means.
I've been looking at a journey:
LHR-DXB-CMB (STOP OVER) - SIN
SIN-CMB (STOP OVER)-DXB-LHR.
The DXB-CMB-SIN legs are operated by SriLankan Airlines
But I believe the LHR-DXB to be operated by EK
(EK008 & EK007).
Although I don't know what the fare rule actually means, to me it does look like it suggests this fare is in fact invalid??
NB: My actual plan is to go to Colombo but since a flight up to Singapore is only a few pounds more I'm doing that as well.
