Help needed with EK flight refund!
I am trying to book a one year flight JFK-DXB-BKK-DXB-JFK , first sector on BUSINESS and rest on ECONOMY. I am starting on May 25, 2005 with stopovers outbound and inbound in DXB, but return to JFK in 10 months time.
The emirates.com gives me 2134.99 US, which is great!!!
The terms and conditions of this fare says NO PENALTIES, NO MAXIMMUM STAY limit!
I wonder if I fly the first sector JFK-DXB, and cancel the rest, DO EK refunds the unused part of the ticket?

which fare class are you travelling in for the Y sectors?
As far as I know, EK will never say "no pentalties"
its usually :
Cancel before depart: 0 AED Cancel After Depart: X AED for a fully flexible fare
As far as I know most economy sectors dont offer refunds after departure.
When I cancelled my "K" ticket, I paid around 50% of the total price to cancel the whole ticket

If you go to the emirates.com and follow the booking inormation I gave.. you will see what I mean!!!
I assume this is because THE FIRST SECTOR is on BUSINESS!
but are they going to deny what their site shows as "FARE CONDITIONS"?
Thanks for taking care..
