Obliged To Fly Emirates
In January, I am traveling to Dubai. My employer has requested that I arrive in Dubai on Emirates' 777. This is not bad news! However, I am an American Airlines AAdvantage Platinum member and was wondering if there is any way to turn this requirement to my advantage. I don't think I can codeshare on a BA flight number because it is Airbus equipment from Manchester to Dubai.
Any ideas?

Travelled into/out of DXB last month on EK's B-777, 2 class configuration, in business class. The entire flight experience was a very pleasant one, limo-service to airport in Dubai, outstanding in-flight service, great food, very nice amenity kit.
One deficency: With the leg rest fully up and the seat back in front fully reclined - as typical on night flights - there is very limited space for your feet. Mine tended to get crushed between the leg rest and seat back which made it very uncomfortable.
