Need Help
Hello Y'all! I am trying to fly from VIE to SFO, ideally through DXB to fly First on the DXB-SFO leg (idc about VIE-DBX leg), on May 5th (+_ a day is fine also). I want to use my amex miles, and I was wondering if you guys can check if FC is an option - my website is glitching like crazy's. The taxes and miles cost doesn't matter to me! Would love any help tyvm

Ah thanks so much. Are there other routes like LAX that have seats? Also, is this normal and do they release tickets closer to the flight? Thanks so much

My guess is your website is "glitching like crazy" because there is no availability. It doesn't actually tell you there is no availability now, it just gives you an error message that says something went wrong.
Do you have EK status? If not you won't find any availability.
LAX and SFO both will be hard to find availability in F no matter what, especially when you have fairly set dates. Try SEA.

This thread has some useful recent data points: Have F award seats disappeared?
These days a site like seats.aero is your best bet on searching for wide award availability

Then transfer from AMEX later on, once you found the flight you want to redeem.

You can book First with Aeroplan, but I am pretty sure a DXB - SFO will cost something like 750,000-800,000 Aeroplan points. That assumes you can find availability. I know you said that the amount of points does not matter, but at that price you might as well buy with cash and get the dates you want.

Well I give up lol I don't want to sign up for a credit card and spending 1.6m points (it's the same price to just buy it lol). I could prob spend 1million points on this flight for 2 people, so it's fine
