Adding KTN to Emirates Booking

Hi - I recently booked a flight on Emirates (about a month and half out ) and was trying to add my TSA PreCheck number to the reservation . First of all, is there a way to add it to my profile itself, on the Emirates website? I could not locate any place to do that. I did locate a place inside "Add Passport Details" for the reservation, where there is space to enter the KTN number , but the same page also has a drop-down labeled "Country of residence" and that list does NOT have United States as one of the entries. That field is marked as mandatory, and therefore there is no way to save that page.

Am I missing something ? Is this a known issue ? I am really surprised that US would not be in the Country of Residence list - so I am wondering what exactly am I missing ??

It is definitely possible. I don't know what page you are on, but in the passport section you can add KTN and right next to it has a field for issuing country of KTN (either US or Canada).

As I said - I DID notice the fields for KTN in the passport section. The point I was making was that I cannot **save** that entire section - because it also has a 'Country of Residence' field - which is mandatory - and is a drop down - and does NOT have United States as an option to select . So there is no way to get past that. I am asking if I am missing something or is this simply a bug in the website that no one has noticed or bothered to fix .

I chatted with Emirates support - They confirmed the issue - and simply said " I will report it " - But I find this really strange that this is something so basic - and has gone overlooked

Mine has somehow "stuck" to my profile by now. Previously I would always have to re-enter it during online check in.
So in your case, just do online check in and you can add it there.
