Is that equipment swap? What happened to the A380??? I knew they still have A380 for a long time or did they downgraded from A380 to 77W? :confused:

I’m flying 770 on 3 September and that still looks like a non-game changer (8F). But I noticed a few odd equipment swaps in the past month. Would be nice to get gc, never had the experience. I see today’s (25/5) flight is operated by A6-EQJ, which is 6F

Looks like some phantom EF seat maps. EK772 on my date is now non-game changer on EK.com but GC on EF. And EF still thinks 772/771 are a pair which makes no sense.

EF seat maps have been exceptionally unreliable on the CPT/DXB (and vv) route for the last few months.
Have bookings in October where they are very different from what EK is showing in MMB.

Sure you did not confuse Jun and Jul?

Otherwise EK61/62 would be the last flight from the list to return - and on the Emirates Website the flight is bookable from June 25.

Does anyone know why EK are so slow in rebuilding full AMS operations? EY and QR have gone pretty much back to normal at AMS but EK is still at not even 50%!

Interesting movement on the GLA EK27/28. For obvious reasons, it has been a 777 throughout April/May, however is switches to an A380 between June 1 - 3 only, before reverting back to the 777 for the remainder of June. Seat map anecdotally looks like such a load could be accomodated on a 777. Showing as a 380 July onwards, assuming this hasn't been reviewed yet.

They did the same with EK49/50+ EK374/375 from 21.05 - 31.05

2 questions:

1: Do they use 777 Dream changer (or whatever) from Athens to the NY area?

2- When will they start Spain (not sure which city) to the NY area?

Surprised by Emirates recently, my upcoming flights in First (EK16 & EK15) have changed from an A380 to a B777 and they flat out refuse to move me on to an A380 service out of Heathrow. These flights have onwards and inbound connections to/from BKK and so I asked to switch to EK002 & EK001 which suits the connections but is a pain for me as I fly in and out of LGW to GCI. Totally refused. I've travelled approx 50 sectors in First the last 5 years (didn't look back further than that) and am a bit surprised at how unhelpful they have been as usually the service is awesome. Tickets originated in Thailand but the Thai office have not replied to me at all. Shame.

Regarding the flight ATH-EWR; normally this flight never has the Game Change.....but aircraft changes can occur.....so from 01/05 till today 28/05, only at four days a GC was used...on 02, 04, 06 and 12 of may.

True, aircraft changes do occur.

Quite a treat to get GC on the EWR-ATH route. That route from my experience usually got the oldest 777s with the previous generation ICE/ smaller screen/remote in F.
