No Mezze on Menu
Looking at menu for upcoming F ORD-DXB flight on 8 November. Surprised to not see mezze as an offering. I do not think I have had any long haul EK flight where it was not offered.

I do see the following on EK236 for 8th November -
Traditional Arabic mezze
A spread of local savoury dishes including houmous, tabouleh, baba ghanouj, muhammara, falafel, fattoush, tahina, stuffed vine leaves and pumpkin kibbeh

I once flew LAX-DXB in F in 2018 and the mezze was replaced by an italian antipasti assortment (as described by the cabin crew it was the same kind of mezze-style setup). I didn't bother

I noticed this on most other USA to Dubai routes in November the F menu doesnt list the Arabic mezze as an appetizer but the J menu does (some of the F menus list an Arabic breakfast instead). Would an F pax be able to order the mezze off the J menu instead?

I don't remember a US flight without the mezze on board in F, but if it's not and they have it in J, you'll get it (99.99%) if you ask.

I have also noticed the odd month when there has been no Mezze on the menu. But, it is generally replaced by some other spread like Antipasti or such.
On another note, some 12 years ago I flew JFK-DXB and the menu had an item called Pasta Bar. There was a selection of stuffed Ravioli(lamb) or rigatoni and a choice of 3 different sauces. I have almost never come across this in the menus ever since. Anybody seen this recently?
