Will We Get Lounge Access
We are flying Premium Economy MEL/ATH, and return from IST/MEL.
I know there is no lounge access with PE. Yesterday I upgraded the leg from IST to DBX to business using points and so wonder if that will entitle us to lounge access in Istanbul?
Second questions is is there actually an Emirates lounge in Istanbul or do they use a partner lounge? I did try to Google but conflicting answers.

According to the Emirates website (look under 'Emirates experience>worldwide lounges) there is no Emirates lounge in IST and you can use the 'Istanbul Airport Lounge (IGA).

Sadly though it is a rubbish lounge in IST.
also make sure you go to electronic gate to scan you boarding pass on the left hand side and dont stand in long line in the right. The long line is for those buying entrance or for airlines who dont have access codes on boarding passes I think. Emirates passes scan.
