EK348 and EK349 stopover in SIN
I'm looking at flights EK348 and EK349 that go between PNH and DXB, with a stop in SIN. It's not clear to me if passengers exit the plane in SIN.
On the GLA-DXB-PNH portion of the flight it says "passengers change aircrafts when connecting" but on the second portion of the flight details, which is DXB-SIN-PNH it says "stop in Singapore 1 hr 45 minutes" but nothing about changing planes.

In case anyone else ever comes looking for this information, a travel agent told me "in Singapore all passengers must get off the aircraft, bring carry-on baggage for scanning, and wait for aircraft cleaning".

I am taking this flight next month, I was under the impression that you did not have to exit the plane in SIN, but good to know if true and kind of annoying. I do wonder if you can access the EK lounge during the layover or if you are stuck in the gate holding area.

Assuming there is time, you'll be able to visit the lounge. You need to leave the gate area and re-enter (security is at the gate).

I'll report back when I take it, although I on the outbound I am trying to book a stopover in SIN, but the pricing is difficult to understand.

To confirm, on these flights that have a "stop in Singapore" you must exit the plane and move to another gate. As security scanning is at the gate in SIN, this means you need to go through security again. You can access the lounges during this period, but make sure to remember that you go through security before boarding and give yourself enough time!

Took EK348 this week in F, a bit of an annoying process in SIN and had I known everything now I probably would have taken the refurbed A380 315am departure and just had a longer layover time in SIN.
Aircraft was A6-EBM, which is the second oldest 777w according to the fleet page, wow the plane was rough, absolutely nothing worked. Luckily crew was understanding and took great care.
Short flight to PNH but managed a full hot meal, crew swaps out at SIN. Only pax in F on that leg. Another great crew who were also apologetic of the embarrassing aircraft interior.
Side note - If an FA (or a spouse or anyone else for that matter) tells you it is impossible to finish a bottle of Dom with only 1:30 in the air, I assure you they are wrong and can be done with time to spare even without the infamous coffee to go cup.
