EK first class availability conflict

Hello! Newbie around these parts, learning a lot, lot to learn.
I'm attempting to book 3 EK first class seats for next year. I'm doing a live search on seats.aero, and see availability for 3 passengers on the date I'm looking for. When I check Emirates directly, I see availability for 1 passenger but not 3. I checked expertflyer and see availability for 4 passengers in F and A, but nothing pulls up for Z. I think I've reached the end of my sleuthing capability. Is it possible that Emirates will only let me book one first class ticket at a time? In other words, can I book three separate tickets for the 3 passengers? I worry that I will only be able to book for one passenger and not the others (there is also no availability in O for that date). Would love for input. Please be kind, I'm probably doing many things wrong while trying to learn!

thank you, yes I wonder where seats.aero get their data from. It does seem suspicious, but to it's credit over the last 48 hours it has been highly consistent in showing the same availability for that same day with live searches.

Also, you will have much better luck tracking F reward availability if you were to track upgrades ex/to DXB rather than O/D.

As mentioned above, ExpertFlyer does not show 'Z' bucket (F award and upgrades) at all, so that's a dead end.
My understanding of seats.aero is limited, but all searches I have done have shown me awards and upgrades to 'A' (or 'O' for business class) as I have deducted from the miles required. So that is a completely different picture from the upgrades the Emirates website shows. Iff someone can enlighten me on how I can 'force' seats.aero to show what EK calls 'classic updates', I would be very grateful.
I agree with the remark above that it is very unlikely that you will find 3 F upgrades / awards for 'next year'. Premium cabins are relatively full and award seats are only made available when the algorithm thinks they will not be sold for cash. The timing for that depends on route and season but unlikely to be more than a week out. And sometimes only at check in or not at all. If you really want to fly F with 3 people, your credit card is your friend (or probably your enemy...

You arent getting 3 F seats on the same flight with mileage. Sorry. Your best bet is book 1 and hope space opens.

This is all incredibly helpful, thank you. So I'm guessing seats.aero doesn't actually know the number of seats available, just that one or more seats is/are available. When I checked pointsyeah for the same dates, it shows me only one first class seat available for award booking, consistent with what y'all are saying and consistent with what Emirates shows on their website.
Might go ahead and book J. Will check to see if first class seats are even available for that day (for purchase) on expertflyer. And then hold out hope that upgrade option from J to Z is available at a later date. Worst case will travel J. This is for the ATH EWR route, which will have upgraded 1-2-1 config starting in Feb 2025, so still should be a good experience.
Thank you all!

I've just completed four flights on Emirates (JFK - DUR via DXB) Unable to upgrade ahead of time however was able to use miles for three flights and a 'promotional offer' for one at each airport, and in one case the lounge. You'd be best booking business and trying for a late upgrade instead of trying for three award seats. Take the single one that's available now and gamble on the other two being available just before the flight. And if the upgrades don't come through...well biz isn't that bad either
Edit: had booked a discount biz fare, upgrades were to F

Seats.aero clearly states, that they can't show how much seats are available for an EK flight. They will show you availability as long as there's just 1 seat available even if you enter 3 in the availability mask. You won't get more than 2 seats in F at a time with EK, at least if it's a 777 and even with the A380 you have to be lucky.

Z seats
I was waiting for an opening for 2 reward seats on EK from LGW and thought it was futile..... then one night at 2am I did a check (even though I had registered for auto upgrade) and low and behold they had the 2 seats available.
it was a rare find.
Dxb - lgw was wasta Z ..... otherwise they were not giving.
3 seats would be like a lottery.

1.Auto upgrade is very unreliable. Don't rely on it!
2. I find availability ex LGW not that bad as the loads are generally lightish. In September I was one of three on an A380. It was a paid seat, but I am fairly confident that there would have been 'Z' availability a few days out (and obviously at check in and on board). (ex DXB I usually take EK11 which is a 2 class service. As it's a night flight, arriving at 7:30 am and I sleep fine in J on a A380 I don't bother trying to upgrade - let alone paying for F).
