Chauffeur or Train

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice since it’s been a couple of years since I last visited Heathrow. I’ll be flying into Heathrow on December 12th from Dubai. I’ll be staying right next door to Tottenham Court Road tube station. My flight arrives at 8 pm, so I’m wondering what the quickest way to get into town. I’m not sure whether taking the chauffeur or using the Elizabeth line. However, the last time I took a chauffeur, it took 90 minutes, so I’m hoping for a more efficient option this time.

If luggage is not an issue, certainly Elizabeth line. Takes 35 minutes to Tottenham Court station.

Completely agree. The Express and then Elizabeth line could shave another 5 to 10 minutes if time is of the essence (although the reliability of the Express has been abysmal over the past year), but all things considered I’d just take whichever departs first from Heathrow.

Would never take a car for that journey unless at VERY quiet times of the day.

Just stayed at the Pan Pacific near Tottenham Court Road tube station, took the Elizabeth line each way was very easy to navigate and much faster than a taxi
