Seems like a one-off but does anyone know why EK431 BNE-DXB operated via MEL (BNE-MEL-DXB) on the 11th March?

Isn’t supposed to adding new US flights? Probably PHX, LAS, DTW, TPA, SLC, PDX, DEN, or IND. they haven’t deployed the new A350-900 aircraft yet. Due to the aircraft availability.

Don’t think they have received any of the A350s with ultra long haul config yet. But I could be wrong.

In the current climate, starting new routes to the USA would be risky. I’d rather see new routes to South America, even China if SZX does well or how about CTS/NGO.
