To each his own, but here I would disagree. The 777 suites are all in a straight line. So on the 777, A and E can look into each other's suites or have a conversation. I once had a gentleman in 2E with an airboot when I was flying DXB-BOS and we compared notes on our experiences and healing times while being in our respective seats. That can be a plus when flying with family but not when seeking privacy. The A380 suites do not offer a 'direct' view even when the doors are open because the suites are offset.

Excellent summaries by jackiedada and lost_in_translation about EK F on the 777 (non-game changer) and 380.
I am more in the camp of the 380 and have not had service issues, even with a full cabin, but ultimately am very happy with EK F.

Its funny just how different people are, as I prefer 777 F! (Game changer first obviously, but even old 777 F over the A380)
- 14 suites is too many for an F product. If youre flying on a second tier route then you might get a nice quiet cabin, but to LHR (or Australia or US) you might also get all 14 seats taken. Service can then be slow and it doesnt feel exclusive enough. I was denied my choice of main course because it had run out by a couple of hours into the flight on a DXB-LHR a couple of months ago
- Row 2 on the 777 is my favourite F seat! Ive never had anyone from J walk past knowingly and I love how cosy and private it feels. In contrast every F seat on the A380 feels exposed to multiple other seats when the doors are open
- The A380 is actually too quiet for me on overnight flights and I hate when trying to sleep hearing up to 13 other people doing dine on demand. The 777 background noise helps to drown out cabin noises
I suppose this merely proves how good EK F is generally that were reduced to this nitpicking

I completely agree ....... I too much prefer the F product in the 777 ....... Service on the A380 can be patchy, especially with a full or near full load. For example, In Dec on a flight out of JNB the service was slow and border line questionable ....... I also find that 14 suites takes away the exclusivity. The only upside of the 380 is the big Washrooms and the shower facility - but, after all these years the novelty factor has dwindled away.
